Welcome to the Jungle!
Whew! I went to the jungle for the first time. So cool.

So now that our zone got restructured we have the Amazonian
part of the mission as part of our zone. It is so far that I thought I would
never go out there. But a companionship needed a baptismal interview out there
so after church yesterday we packed our bags, ate lunch, and headed out to the
jungle.
Lamentablemente (Unfortunately) I forgot my camera so no photos. But next
time I will take a ton. The weather out there is so amazing. It is a lot warmer
here and it took me back to being in the coast. Also the bus ride was so
beautiful. Just driving by a ton of waterfalls and through the jungle. I had
another one of those "where in the world am I" moments being in the Amazon. Super
cool.
This was a good week.
Elder Rengel is awesome. He is from La Paz, Bolivia. He has
3 more months than me here in the mission and is a baller. A super smart
missionary and we are enjoying life out here.
Also after I finish writing I am going to hop on a bus to
Quito for a meeting tomorrow. I will have been in a bus for 12 hours in the
last 3 days when tomorrow ends because of our two trips to Puyo and Quito.
Being in a bus is the worst.
A difficult moment this week was when this awesome family
from Venezuela we have been teaching told us they were not that interested in
our message. A low moment because I love that family so much but it is part of
missionary work.
But I will definitely send some photos this week because
another Venezuelan will be getting baptized. Let's go!
That was about all this week. Just me in the Amazon. Also
this Saturday President Nelson will be giving a devotional to the missionaries.
Hopefully he invites us as well to do a social media fast.
Love y'all,
Elder Tucker
