Bring the Fire

This week was amazing.

This was Elder Brown's last week of the work. Man he went out on top. We literally were running around all week. Our motto has been Bring The Fire. And the fire was brought. One thing that was nice was that Elder Brown had some money left over so the last week we used it to take a bunch of taxis to visit more people. Bringing the fire is a ton of fun.

So we have transfers tomorrow. I am getting Elder Rengel! He is a Bolivian and he is fire. I already know him and I am so pumped to be his companion and learn from him. Fun Fact. When I left my second area which was called Argelia, he replaced me. But crazy things happened this transfer. So before I was part of the second smallest zone in the mission. There was only 14 missionaries. But President re-drew the zones and now I have the biggest zone in the mission numerically and geographically. All of the amazonian part of our mission is now part of the zone. 22 missionaries in the zone. There is an area 7 hours from our house. That means I get to go to the jungle part of the mission. So it is going to be a crazy transfer. Super pumped for it though.

Sunday was a pretty stressful day for me. To bring the fire I try to not get complacent or relaxed when there is still work to do. But sometimes that good stress becomes too much and leads to bad stress. So it was actually pretty difficult for me to concentrate during the Sunday sessions and enjoy it because of the stress.

The source was a really good family that I love did not come to church. It really stunk.

But today in the morning I downloaded all the talks from conference and have been listening to them. Man they are fire. They bring the fire. So now I am doing really good. I am super pumped for this week and hope to bring some fire.

🔥🔥🔥

President Eyring and Elder Bednar are my favorites and their talks were amazing. I am really excited to ponder on their messages and apply it in my life. Also 2 hour church. Craziness. I am excited because hopefully more people come out to church.

Best,

Elder Tucker
