Baños

I went to the bathroom for P-day! So much fun and such a tourist attraction.

So I went to Baños today. That means bathrooms in English. It is the most gringoified city in my mission. What that means is Baños is a city about an hour from our house tucked in the jungle mountains of Ecuador. Most people go to Baños to go do tourist things. I saw so many foreigners. We just walked around and bought some souvenier stuff because Elder Brown is winding down his mission. Then we ate my favorite dish: Encebollados. The best soup ever.

Question: Do green bananas exist in the US. Like big super green bananas. Because you can make some good food with that stuff.

That is about it. Elder Brown and I are staying together another change. That means I will be ending his mission.

We were a little down this week because we had 4 baptisms planned but the people could not get married so no baptisms. But hopefully they get baptized this week. Pray for us.

Something cool did happen this week. So we have an Amercian return missionary living in our sector. This week he and his wife made hamburgers and they were huge and delicious. I ate two. One of my new favorite pastimes is stuffing myself. I just feel like I won a great battle every time.

Look up OutlawPreachingForJesus. It is this crazy guy from Nevada who talked to us a couple of weeks ago. That is his facebook page I think. He is so crazy that he should have his own movie. As missionaries we are magnets for all crazy people.

Ecuadorian food is way better than American food. At least I always feel better after eating Ecuadorian food.

I think President Nelson is the man. I love that now we do not use the name Mormon at all. It makes more sense.

Loving Life. How is school already starting in the US? Time is going so fast.
