Another Flipping Awesome Week

This week just really rocked and flew, I cannot believe it is already monday.

So we had divisions with the zone leaders this week which was awesome.
A zone leader came to my sector so I had to take the lead. His name is
Elder Price and he is from Utah. It was so nice to spend a day with
another Gringo and talk about Gringo stuff. It was super fun and I
learned so much. We could not go to sleep at night because we were
just telling funny stories about life. Also we got pizza for lunch and
it was actually really good. It brought me back to the states for a
moment
Also being with Elder Price I realized how blessed I have been with my
Spanish. Elder Price said for his first 6 months no one understood him
and it was very frustrating. I can only think of two instances where I
was talking and the person did not understand me which is such a
blessing. Also people here think I know Spanish better than I do. I
will say "repeat please" and the will be like no you understand. It's
pretty funny.

We had a multi mission conference this week which was awesome and
funny because the conference was in the other mission so we had no
clue where we were going. The leaders would say get off at this stop,
wait no the next one, wait no the last one. It was just super fun. The
conference had Sister Eubank and Sister McConkie. It was very
spiritual but it made me miss home because Sister McConkie looks
exactly like you Mom. Also, they should have brought you to translate
Dad because you could have done a better job than the translator. She
was having a hard time.

The ward here is so amazing, the people here feel like family. I see
the countenance of my family in their faces. On Sunday we had 3
lessons with less actives or part-families and we got fed at every
lesson. We went home stuffed and it was an amazing feeling. But I have
found the crazy guy in the ward. He always asks me for money because
I'm a Gringo. And he is always bothering the Bishop which is pretty
funny.

The greatest feeling in the world is feeling the Lord work through
you. After divisions with the zone leaders I have been trying to work
on my contacting and asking questions. And one night I had this fire
contact. We knocked on this door and introduced ourselves and I asked
what they would ask Jesus if he was here. They said they would ask why
is the world so bad. And then I just started quoting scripture and
going off. I do not know half of what I said. It was super awesome and
we have a lesson with them tomorrow night.

One thing I love about the mission is working to improve myself. I
have so much to work on and it just feels so good to progress in all
aspects.

Elder Pontón, my trainer, continues to be awesome. I really do not
want him to leave.

The American family in the ward has all the missionaries in the zone
over for Thanksgiving for real food. I am counting down the days.

This week just flew and we had so much fun and worked hard. I am
really getting into the routine of the mission and starting to thrive.

Love y'all so much
Elder Tucker
